Shoreline Planning Commission
The Planning Commission consists of nine residents and/or property owners appointed by the City Council to address land use and planning issues. Members serve for a four year term.
The Planning Commission provides regular opportunities for the public to comment on matters of interest at each meeting.

The Planning Commission held a public hearing on Master Plan Amendments, the 2008 annual consideration of amendments to the Comprehensive Plan with associated Development Code amendments. The Commission reviewed staff's revised proposal, heard testimony from two citizens, reviewed comment letters, and asked clarifying questions of staff. The Commission unanimously voted to continue the public hearing to Thursday, May 15 to allow staff to come back with additional language that would address Commission and citizen concerns. After the public hearing, the Commission reviewed its hearing procedures and amended its Bylaws.
