Paramount School Park

The Skate Park at Paramount School Park

Status: Completed: September 2005

Final improvements to Paramount School Park were completed in September 2005 including a picnic shelter (available to the public for general use or reservations. ), a paved entry pathway, landscaping and irrigation at the northwest corner of the park.

Paramount School Park received a complete overhaul and is home to the very active Connie King Skateboard Park, dedicated in August 2004. Improvements included: regraded and reconfigured baseball and soccer fields; new drainage and irrigation; a restroom; a larger play area with children’s tot area; new picnic tables; paved parking lots; and sidewalks, landscaping, and re-aligned pathways with benches.

The Paramount School Park is a partnership between the City of Shoreline and Shoreline School District. The School District provided the land, which is a former school site, and the City provided the improvements and maintains the park facilities.
