Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Board
The Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services (PRCS) Board advises the City Council and City staff on a variety of parks and recreation issues including plans and policies, park operation and design, program activities, property acquisition and development of rules and regulations.
Members of the PRCS Board are appointed by the City Council for four-year terms with one alternate member serving a two-year term. Board members are all volunteers who live, work or own property in the City of Shoreline.
The PRCS Board meets eight times a year on the fourth Thursday of the month from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Regular meetings are scheduled for January through July and September. The Board may call additional meetings if necessary.
The PRCS Board currently has recently tasked two citizen-driven subcommittees with assistance in guiding some of the Park Bond Projects:
